Viewing a thread - Tell me about light towers - AgTalk

WCOHBeen thinking one of these may be pretty handy for portable light and generator. Hoping to stay around $-. Will that buy one that is any good? Looking on auctiontime I see some can be had for that. I noticed some are only 6-8kw generator which doesn't leave a lot for tools, air comp etc with 4 lights x or watts each.

Threw in a pic in case I'm not using the right term.

We use them for harvesting primarily canning tomatoes & grapes at night so the truck drivers can find the yard in the middle of nowhere. It also keeps a set of doubles out of the drainage ditches and irrigation canals. Ours are nothing more than a small generator with about 20 amps more than the lights draw.
